German Gothic Sallet Helmet Ver.2:
Sallet was initially variant of the bascinet constructed by Italians. Sallet helmet was used without Aventail and Visor at start. German Gothic Sallet became very popular in Germany. Later visor was added to provide protection to warrior face, back was extended to cover neck and sides of helmet were extended to cover cheeks of wearer. In medieval times, Sallet Helmet was worn by majority of German and Italian infantry. First Sallet helmet was introduced by an italian prince family named Gonzaga family in 1407. Our all helmets have inner foam padding and leather chin strap closed with buckle. Helmets are made to measure as per customer requirements. All metal products can be made in 20 gauge,18 gauge, 16 gauge and 14 gauge. Customer can choose Dull finish and Mirror finish products.
