The Gjermundbu Helmet is one of the most important things from the Viking Age. It was found in a burial mound in Ringerike, Norway and it is the only Viking helmet that has been completely preserved. Dated back to the 10th century. Its rounded cap, segmented construction and distinctive face protection like glasses show that it was made by real Norse craftsmen.
